Admins move this if you want but I wanted to let you all know my son Aric and his wife Ani had their first child this morning. And out first grandchild. They named him Soren Mathew.
They are very proud parents. I haven't been able to see him yet. I have been down for four days with the flue. But I'm feeling good now and I have been out in the garage cleaning since about 3:00 today. So I'm going to meet him tomorrow.

His dad is a nurse. He was allowed to help out with the delivery. It will be a nice story for Soren when he is older.

Our first is due in Jan!
So my wife has been walking around muttering about what name she wants to use.
Grandma, NaNa, GiGi - holy crap its funny, there are entire websites dedicated to GMa names. I told her she will go by "whatever the grandkid calls her" LOL.

So she asks me what name I want to use. I told her the kid should call me "Ice Cream".
Then whenever my name is called we are eating Ice Cream...huh? did you say Ice Cream? sure lets go eat some!

They can eat boiled, mushed, non discreet, lifeless, tasteless peas at home, at my house they are getting spoiled!!!

Thanks all, I still haven't been able to get too close to him. I still have a cold and what's left of the flue. But he's coming over on Wednesday so I'll get to know him a little then.
