Well, this could account for some of the spots in my garage...This car is endless surprises! Not sure when or how this occurred, or what this part is, though my thought is transmission component?

Needs to be replaced, so can someone tell me what I should order to shore this up!

That's just a dust cover. Your leak is inside there...

That is the plastic cover over your shift linkage as it goes into the tranny. It should not leak as it holds no fluid. There is a seal up inside of the cover that is probably the source of your fluid leak.
