Jon's around but he has lost a lot of weight since that picture was taken and shaved his head to short stubble.
Not sure if any progress is being made on his 914/Subaru project though...

I tried to call him last week to wish him merry x-mas, but it seems he changed his cell phone number and I do not have the new one.....
Gary Helbig is missing from the 'club as well....I heard rumors of him wanting a Miata at one time, wonder if he got one and ditched the 914????

someone mentioned that a twin-turbo subaru motor w/901-914 adapter plate was for sale a while back, I hope it was not Jon's stuff?!?!?!?

I just remember everyone jumping all over Garys post because of one of Zois avatars...
I think Gary lost interest in this place because of that debacle...
Gary has been a 914-devotee forever...his involvement is missed.

Gary tried to sell me his 914 and all the parts in his garage at the first 914 breakfast I ever went to! He was active on Rennlist for a while longer but never hung out much here or on the Pelican BB. Some people just aren't into the web interface.
Gary's posts on the 914 email helped me a lot when I first got started and I won't forget that. Thanks Gary!

All he did was bitch then stand back and watch the fun....kind of puerile if you ask me, to use THAT as an excuse.
