914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 110mm studs for spacers?

Posted by: CptTripps Jan 7 2014, 08:59 AM

Before I plunk down a bunch of cash to buy new studs, is 110mm what I should be buying?

I'll be running 2" spacers up front (17X7.5) and 1" in the rear (17X9)

I have what would be considered "adapters" right now, but plan on knocking those studs out and running them straight through.

2" spacers in the front will mess up your scrub radius and make the steering feel wonky. Go with a 1" in front.

1" up front. Noted.

You wont need more than 100mm. Last I knew Automotion sells them for 60$ for 10.

Yeah...$120 for the studs, and they want $21.50 for shipping. WTF!

I called Automotion and they wouldn't budge on the shipping...so I searched elsewhere.

Found the same studs for about $40 less...and shipping was only $12.

$95 later...I've got 20 100mm studs headed my way.

I'm confused. .not the first time. Question, why would the factory install spacers then? Or were they only on the rear of the car?

Forgot about Paragon thumb3d.gif

They were 39$ at Automotion for the longest time...inflation.
