Trying to fit a 3/8NPT or M12x1.5 coolant sensor into what I think is a standard M22x1.5 fan switch fitting (Renegade radiator), but having no luck locating an adaptor to suit either.
Anyone have a source? Or an alternate suggestion?
Thanks; the "ISO port" nomenclature is new so that helps with the searching.
I'm worried that, with the way that the port is located and the geometry of the GM sensor, I'll wind up with the active part of the sensor in an air pocket because it won't poke out far enough.
Ideally, I'd be able to find something like this:

with the right thread, but so far it looks like I'd be better off hoping the port is really M25...
Get an aluminum M22 to AN adapter (Summit or Setrab) and cut the AN portion off, drill/tap to the size you need.

keep looking
How about plugging that hole and get this?

Thread hijack, but does anyone know wher you can get the tube nut for the standard Porsche oil line at 30m 1.5 for 20 mm tube? They all seem to jump to around $50 when you reach this size and this size only.
Now back to the worthy thread still in progress. The expertise made me seize the opportunity
Mark - funny you should suggest that, I'd just ordered a couple plus a 3/8NPT tap off eBay an hour earlier. I went -8 rather than -6 (3/8 is .675 and -8 should be ~.5 ID), so I hope my math is good.
Mike - thanks, but a) they're all too big for the hot side hose, and b) the stickers that come with it would almost certainly attract the wrong sort of attention. 8)
OK, how about this one?

Or this one...
