If spring ever arrives, I am thinking of hosting a BBQ for all the New Englanders to meetup and show off whatever car they want to drive.

So, who is out there?

I don't think of BBQ when I think of Florida....
I think about snowbirds, my mom, and all the nice winter property...

We know what to do.

I just ordered a new Winter Wool Lined Coat from LL Bean for our Spring activities!

That should at least get me into June......... Then it's Tshirts for at least 30 days!

To early for me. I rarely have taken the car out of the garage until early May due to snow or remains of salt/sand on the roads.

If you did it a few days leading up-to Hershey, I'd be in. I could drive up from Cleveland, then down to Hershey, then home from there.

The date on my wall is to have the car on the road by the 15th...so maybe I'll make that my inaugural drive? (With 2-3 oil changes along the way on a fresh motor!)

I will need to defer to my shoreline brothers for the seafood portion of the meal.
I will setup a BBQ....

I have lots of land, so if you want a pit, we can do that....
Good sandy lot if you want to dig a hole in the sand and do it right..

For anyone that hasn't been up to Rich's place...

The drive is great, lots of 2 lane twisties through wooded areas. He's also got a great workspace and lots of air cooled german stuff in various states of assembly

UGH!

Inch and a half of snow, quarter inch of gravel and salt greeted us this morning. Snow will be gone by the days end. The gravel and salt will not.

I still have the date on my calendar, but we need a couple of good rains to wash the roads before I take the six out.

I assume that they will be no rain date.

I'll be watching for particulars over the next week.
