For sale here in SoCal are upper and lower 930 valve covers, are they worth $60? And will they fit a 2.7? Thanx in advance

good price and they will fit. . lowers will need machining to clear suspension ears. .

You may want to check the Pelican site: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911L/POR_911L_ENGpis_pg5.htm

If they aren't warped, yes that is a good price.

Checked pelican, yeah well worth $60. Is there a way a novice can check for warping?

Sure. Put 2 of them back to back (or face to face, depending on how you look at it) and see if there's a gap anywhere. But you thought of that, right? 60 bucks is the cheap "apiece" price for the lowers ....................

the lowers have been modified for a twin plug head. . not good for a normal 911 motor as it will let out the cooling air unless you can plug the holes. .
