are all the fog light grills metal? I noticed Pelican selling new primered grills for $40 a pop...are these metal?
I thought they were all plastic? Chrome or painted

i thought the early prototype cars had metal
all i have seen are chromed plastic
To discover what the grills are made of, I took a pos one and broke it to little pieces. Well, I really smashed it for fun and its made of plastic that is chromed.
Maybe early ones are metal.
My advice is to think before you leap and don't blame anyone else for your mistakes!
Dan, gonna make it to Korijos?

The replacement ones available are plastic. In both primered and chrome. I just ordered some.
There might be metal ones available in about a month.....

As a slight asside from this thread, I have found that you can repair cracked and broken fog light grills with Acetone. I have a box of broken grill parts I use to build up sets for my cars and for friend's cars.
Phil
I know somebody who might be able to "chrome" the $40.
