I've been out of it for a while (got 2 Tamiya Touring Cars)

I'm thinking of a Nitro RTR like one of these (want to run through light terrain)

I just got one of the ready to run Tamiya monster trucks for my daughter, not that I would want to use it of course...

I came a across a forum a while back, I'll try and find it.

I actually have 3 Touring cars, I thought I sold 3 but only 2.

I had a TA02 Alfa (which this body is from) and a TA02W 300ZX IMSA.

I have an UnBuilt JAACS Accord and UnBuilt Opel Cabria (Need a body for that one I messed it up)

This is the Martini Alfa, with Hop Ups (DynaRUN, Alum dampners, NovaK)





I should probably finish them, but I always wanted a Nitro car and tehy are actually afforable now.

The Nitro Thunder is in stock at Tower Hobbies, but it is almost a hundred bucks more than the Citroen... And it ain't like I don't have enough projects but darn they are cool.

Nice cars,

I got the truck for the kids because it can take major abuse. They ram it into walls and doors at full speed, even crash it down the stairs.

It has 5" wheels so it goes in the deep grass and over gravel or rocks.

Man, our old cat hates that thing.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add... For my runners, I have a mildly modifed Tamiya GTI FWD and a new HPI RS4 Nitro SS. Once you go nitro, you'll never go back. My wish list still has an HPI Savage or XTM .

That is a bit over the top for me.

I have ordered the Citroen from tower. (I also used them a lot in the past (like late 70's early 80's)) If it takes too long, I will change the order to the Nitro Thunder.

Looks like RTR's are really catching on, I like not having to paint and trim Bodies; I was just never any good at that. I do not mind building the car (I actually like it) but the body I always screw up, or are not happy with. I think the tank body would be a lot like a plastic model (That I can deal with) but darn is it expensive!

I just wish that I could find real pictures of the new TGS-R XBG and some more details. Too new apparently.

I have always had great luck with Tamiya! I have also has an Associated RC12 and Kyosho Ultima. Tamiya is always the best scale model wise, just not the highest performance usually,

That's what I'm here for! I love to paint teh bodies, but I hate using my own money to do so. Do a search on the RCZone board for my name (djm914-6 and AirBoston) to see some of my stuff.

Nice looking car you bought. Keep me posted on how she runs.

I'm just getting OUT of racing. If you want a great deal on a LOT of racing gear, let me know. I've got a ton of Losi and Associated stuff. I used to hang out with a lot of the big-whigs in RC. (Kinwald, Francis, Drake, Hodge, Doseck, Dunbar, lots of others...)

In my experience there are a few cool cats in the RC world. I like Gil Losi Jr and Curtis Husting (losi and associated). They are smart guys and Ive spoken with them a few times.

Ive been racing personally for about 7 years (im 19). Ive been designing cars for about 3-4 years. You learn a LOT about suspensions from these things. Thats how I got in.
