we could probably make a similar font if you don't need all of it...I mean, if you need to make a word or phrase look like the font above i could probably do it, but not a whole font...know what i mean?

Not in any program I have, sorry.

Posted by: Jeroen Jan 8 2005, 07:39 AM

sorry, I searched, but couldn't find it in my collection either...

I looked around and couldn't find it either. I also uploaded your image to http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ and that couldn't nail it down either.

I have a CD with 1000's of fonts on it but I dont have time to go through all of them. I could copy the CD and send it up to you.

[FONT=Times]
The font is Neuzeit Roman

Posted by: Zylinder Jan 8 2005, 11:41 AM

It looks like the only "Neuzeit" that I actually have is "Book" and "Book Heavy", neither of which is correct.

"Book" is too light and "Book Heavy" is too, uh ... heavy.

Only the "Roman" weight is correct and the only one that has the "R" that matches.

I'll see if I can find a source.

A scan from my crappy scanner of Neuzeit Roman from an old Linotype sample book:

http://wholewheat.com/font

It looks like the current equivalent is "Neuzeit Grotesk T Regular"
