Its the seat-belt warning buzzer contact.

I used to tell my kids when they were little that it was for the ejection seat. wink.gif

It triggers the light on the dash which says:
FASTEN SEAT BELT. It superceded the original warning light that said:
FASTEN SEAT BELT, YOU ARE IN FOR A FUN RIDE.
