914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Show me your butts....err...rear ends

I need a few good closeup pictures of the steel panel between the taillights and the edge below them, preferably without any trim or lights, as bare as possible.
The top edge where the rubber seal goes is slightly molested and on my car its tilted a but so that the L- shaped edge is tilted towards the front of the car creating a small ditch that will accumulate moisture...doesnt seem quite right...
My car had the "Porsche" panel between the rear lights but with a cutout for the trunk knob, not sure wether I want to skip the panel after the restoration or get a new one and but go knob-less and fit electrical opening instead.

Hmmm....those are some great asses....has anyone got a closeup shot of the upper lip there the boot rubber seal goes? preferably without the rubber and along the lip? I'll post a shot of mine when I get home from my worktrip thursday so you can see what looks a bit wierd on mine.

Mine looks like this, lock hole is molested and the center top edge has been welded for some reason....also the upper L-shaped edge is not square, it's less than 90 degrees so I will need to fix it somehow...

Two comments Chris. My photos used to do the same thing. I found that if I used my computer's photo edit program to rotate the photos 360 degrees once before posting, the photos always posted correctly (Really!). Also, use the "Preview Post" button at the bottom of the posting window to check the photo orientation is correct before posting.
