Got the heads on, getting ready to put the followers in and can only find 7. Should I replace them all or just get another? Seem to be in pretty good shape, no nicks, scratches or dents. headbang.gif

No comment on a solution but I feel your pain. I lost a wrist pin on my last rebuild.

I may have several if you need one. PM me if so.

It's strongly recommended that cam followers go with the camshaft with which they were originally installed. Both work harden and mismatching can, and often will, lead to unforeseen and rapid wear. I have seen old cams and new lifters fail disastrously, once in less than 600 miles. The opposite scenario is also known to have happened. Mismatching is a calculated risk.

Good luck! The Cap'n
