You might be able to bend the tabs enough, but white metal is pretty crack sensitive. You could use epoxy to secure a replacement piece if the tabs don't survive. smash.gif

Yes they can be removed and reinstalled. Don't pry to hard on the tabs and only far enough to remove the socket assy. otherwise you will need to glue the socket assy back on, if that is your intent.

Why do you want to take it apart? Are you trying to fix it or re chrome the housing? You can buy NOS units if you need them vs fixing 30 year old junk.

I am working on it. I am cleaning them right now. (soaking)

I want the connectors off cause a bunch of water got in there. I want to clean the contacts up a bit.

Plus, I got some of this stuff...
