Is the yellow wire on my starter in the correct spot? Does it go on the top terminal where its at now or on the bottom one?
I should of took better notes when I took the car apart!!
Thanks for the help!!!
Can't tell much from that pic. Which ever one of the small spades makes the starter engage when you jump it across the large pole w/ a screw driver.
yes that is correct
It is tuff to see since you have the boot on the battery post, but it does look correct. If you test it, make sure you are in neutral. Touch a screw driver to the post that the battery cable is on and the blade the yellow wire is on. That will activate the starter and the solenoid. You will hear the tell tale cranking sound. If the key is ON, it should start or at least fire.
If you touch the screw driver to the 2 large posts the starter will turn, but the sol will not engage.
Thanks everyone for the help!!
