And let me tell you, that must have been a big ass cow. Got the leather for my interior today, it smells awesome. Its huge. I am thinking this should be enough to do the whole interior in the car. The grain is very consistent and even. Should make for a nice interior. The smell is really strong when I opened the box. And it is so soft. I can hardly wait. Now I just need to find someone to do it for me. I dont have a machine that will sew it.
Gack.........will you take up smokin again......this cow sniffin ain't gettin it.
Where's PETA when ya need em?
Wow, that's a big cow! How much did that set you back?
did it come with a free pie? heh.
how thick is that 1.5-2.5 ounce?
check with dr.evil
he does upholstery, and what I understood from other members, he does good work...
Hey, you know that would be a cool paint scheme for your truck.
Scott - if you have any leather left over, I need a piece to fix a spot on the top of my dash. I am also thinking about wrapping some parts of the roll cage. LMK. $$$

Bring it to me Scott. How much was the cow?
The cow was $100.00 plus $10 shipping. I am happy with it which is really all that matters.
There is a guy on Ebay that sells them also. You can find him here and he is about the same price.

$110! I may have to start sourcing my leather there and bringing it to my shop. Their leather prices are steap. I will be checking on what the labor alone will cost for people that supply their own leather. I will hopefully have an answer this weekend.
Cool Mike, let me know. I will be checking with a guy I know that does upolstery also. I am not sure if he will want to do a car or not. He does sofa's and chairs and stuff.
Oh, I was hoping it was gonna still have the hair on it. Black 'n' white! Woo!
If you want soft, try doeskin. Mmmmmm... The feel of it on your booty makes you go
Cole
Wow! A leather bed liner!

Hide from Europe??? Circa...when???? MAD COW! MAD COW!!!!!
Do not let that thing jump up and bite you---
Looks good!
I have great service and work with Roberto’s on Harbor in Costa Mesa. They did my back panel- I had a NOS white one and a roll of the factory brown vinyl) Just bring him the seats and panels. He’s across from Theodore Robbins Ford. Maybe not the cheapest but quality work.
Then there’s always across the boarder….

Robertos is also a great place to get upholstery....Very good work..

I got my cow today. Well, really only half of the outside of a cow.
It is really nice leather. Super soft and a very even grain.
It is a little thicker than I expected, but that is even better for my planned use.
I'm gonna wrap the roll cage to match the seats and dash that are already in the car.
Before you ask - the price was less than $50 from eBay, including shipping.
