Couple things: The document lists option C13. What is it?
Also it lists light metal wheels. What could that mean? No size, no mention of brand
Leather wrapped steering wheel
Black Leatherette interior
I will be looking for engine # 6404371
"Light metal wheels" == alloys.
What kind of car is this again?

Light Metal = Mahles
They make repros of the gas burners. Originals are harder to find, they are magnesium, so be careful to check them out good before buying. I have heard they can get porous with age and leak through the castings.
The "light metal" just means alloys. Could be Fuchs or Mahles, the term is not specific.
Rick, you've been talking about quite a few cars--sorry I can't keep them straight.

So without the actual window sticker you can't tell... Dang. Maybe Wolfgang has an old picture of it .
Hi Rick,
My COA says the same C13 as an option. It also states light metal wheels which mine had a set of 5.5 x 14 Fuchs wheels. As for the Gas burner wheels check out Pelican's site as they pop up here n there but expect to pay well over $2500 + for a set.
Check this link out for 6 engine ser. #'s : http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=111670
My cousin Matt had some 911 14 inch fuch's for sale in Sacramento. Not sure if those would work or what he was asking for them. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will ping him.
I don't want to find my engine Rick- if I did I'd wind up with another oversized paper weight. Not having the original engine gives me the freedom to do what I want with my six & I'm not going to redo her in original Irish green w/ a black interior. Just something to think about
I have a set of 14" Fuchs wheels but I'm going to run 16"s anyway. The 14"s are going to Shea.
Keep an eye on The Samba for gas burners. One of my favorite 914/6 wheels!
fwiw - my sixer came from Germany with 8x15 very-light-weight "thin" steel wheels - weighed about half or less of a standard 5" steelie
wish i had not tossed 'em away
my German TUV specifically lists 185/70-15 auf "Alu" wheels, which also came with the car, - those were alloys
- so it is clear that the TUV knew the difference between steel & ALU alloy, and one would presume that your COA would be similarly correct
so I'm not betting that your "light wheels" were alloys
also fwiw - the are more than a few posts online that call into question the accuracy of the COA's being produced nowadays
.
Someone else wanting to know what option C13 is.

I had a nice conversation with Rocky Kuonen today. He is the guy that had the accident with the car. He informed me he had a shop ready to repair the car but opted to move on and sell it instead.
Rocky told me he had the car since 1993. It was interesting to learn he thought the car was in Idaho for a time early in it's existence then in Oregon and maybe Salt Lake. before he ended up with it.
This could be a valuable piece in the puzzle.
He also told me he had the rear bumper powder coated.
Rocky also told me Gordon Ledbetter owned this car for a time and had a hot 2.8 RSR engine in it.
