Is there a common ground for the instrument cluster and if so, where approx is it located? I have no signal lights and no power to the instruments. The genny light was also on. The car was running fine then I let it sit for about two weeks and this started. I assume its a ground? Could a loose alternator belt cause this? My belt is a liitle loose, I will sort that out tonight regardless.

If you lose all power to the instrument cluster, then ALT light will turn on because it will have +12V on the Alt side and 0V on the instrument side.
