914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Painted Mahles

Painted my Mahles over the last few days. I like the blacked out Fuchs look, this is my budget version. I dig it. Thoughts?

BTW, any intown Atlanta guys here? I know Sterling Skinner, nice guy & good resource. Anyone else?

I like it!

I did the same to a set I had on a yellow '73 many years ago.

Bring it to http://okteenerfest.com this fall and show it off smile.gif

Looks pretty darn good! It is amazing how some paint done well on wheels can really change the look of a car.

I like it.... does not distract from the car..... suits the car very well.

I have aways thought that wheels should not "stand out" .... unless they are extremely unique, etc.

Good job.

Thanks guys. White would not be my first choice for a 914 nor would be the late model bumpers but it was the cleanest car I could find at the time.

They would look even better with the ridges polished or painted silver!

Don't sell yourself short, you got a damn nice car that I'd take in a heart beat, Polish the rings ( try Flitz, a great polish) a bit and take a better pic, looks awesome,
