Do I need the headlight buckets?
They don't appear to add any structual integrity and we would loose another 4-5 pounds. Whatcha think?

JP,

Mine are going away pretty soon. I run on the street with only driving lights in the fog light position. No front plate (not required with collector a car plate in Washington State)

Good Luck

Are you planning on going with the 'glass hood with no headlight cutouts?

Humm.....I hadn't thought that far ahead IPB Image

Do I have to make a decision before I remove the head lights and ALL the effin' wiring?

I don't know. Do you plan on driving at night?

We cut ours out and re-located the rain gutters/hood seal channels.

We run a glass front hood without the headlight cutouts.

They really don't weigh that much, but it is some weight.

I'll try to post a pic Sunday.

Glass hood gets the thumbs up.
No glass hood, thumbs down.

I thought about wieght loss. Kinda have to really start shedding the steel before you actually do anything.

A 200# passenger on board cost me half a second over the course of a 1:30 sec a/x run.

I've got a box with about 35 lbs of shittage (street gear) out of the front trunk thus far. I'm gonna run some tubes that will put a good part of that back in.

I was thinking of relocating the gutters if I nuke the buckets.

I've run quicker with a passenger more than once.

JP, get the hood without the cutouts and then take em out, otherwise I'd leave it alone.
