914World.com _ 914World Garage _ New Fuel Pump Recommendation?

Posted by: Larmo63 Aug 20 2014, 03:57 PM

What is the aftermarket replacement for the Bosch 3 port/FI fuel pump for a '73 1.7 and,

should I locate the new one up front? Thanks. headbang.gif

Anybody have a good used one sitting around for sale?

Is it a two prong or three prong fuel pump? I had a three and went with a two when replacing. Not hard at all. Also moved the fuel pump to firewall which solved heat issues too. NAPA sells the Bosch pump. Number at NAPA is BSH 69133

Just discard the Y connector.

I am trying to figure out how you routed the hoses to the pump? Did you do a 270 with the inlet hose?
