2013. Google is my friend, why not yours? Maybe you're just lonely? BTW, the fuel mileage is kinda sucky for a diesel. My 2002/2003 Jettas average around 47 MPG/mixed, the 2013 cabbie is around 33!

Shows that is came out in 2003
I guess it was not imported into the states at that time.

That is what I could not find out with google.
