914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Re-doing the interior

Posted by: barefoot Sep 8 2014, 03:51 PM

I've just started getting quotes to re-do the interior, initially just quoting seats and door panels only (vinyl bolsters & fabric seats and door panels).
Backpad was OK and I did the dash center portion in curly maple veneer. Have a cap for the dash top and the kneepad was OK.
Will need all new carpets also.
Anyone have any costs to share for this kind of work, just curious

I purchased a pair of seats covered with correct material for $400 which included a center pad too. The previous owner never placed in a car. My door panels are original and did not needed to be covered.

I do have the door panels in kits and a few assembled. I'm working on getting more vinyl stuff, like back pads and seat cover kits, on line in the next month.

Interested in seat cover kit. Especially if I could supply you with material for the center pad and cushion. I want tartan inserts.
