914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Looking for Gemini Blue 914 pictures

Anybody have a Gemini Blue 914? If so, could you post a photo go the car? I am looking for pictures of 914s in this color, and they seem hard to come by.

Check out 914club.com. There is a whole thread on George's Gemini Blue restoration.

Thanks. Neat story. Anyone else have a picture of a Gemini Blue 914. Maybe a narrow body car? I would love to see a picture.

This one
might be Gemini Blue (seems a little too light). It's a '72 and judging by the color codes, Gemini Blue would be the most likely candidate, assuming original paint or repaint in the same color ...

Thanks. Do you think the 2nd picture, with the red and light bluish cars in the background, is Gemini Blue?
Thanks,
Steve

I don't believe that one is an actual Gemini Blue car. That's Carl Cilker's original Six, and I think it is either a paint-to-sample or a non-factory repaint.

Ok Thanks. It seems that narrow-body Gemini Blue cars might be as scarce as duck lips, as my dad used to say. Still hunting for a picture that is definitely a Gemini Blue 914.
Thanks,
Steve

You could always https://www.google.com/search?newwindow=1&safe=off&site=&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1304&bih=746&q=gemini+blue+porsche&oq=gemini+blue+porsche&gs_l=img.3..0.1763.7435.0.7606.19.11.0.8.8.0.136.874.9j2.11.0....0...1ac.1.53.img..0.19.894.uODxTfnZ-L0&gws_rd=ssl and find some examples.
Gemini Blue was used on 911s of the time as well, so a lot of the pics are of tail-draggers.

Ya, I looked in Google images. But, most are 911s, and I can't confirm that any of the 914s are actually Gemini Blue.
Thanks,
Steve

It was a listed color option.

There were probably cars that were painted that color. Don't know if we can confirm any now with original paint, though.

My car is an Alaska Blue Metallic, but I am strongly considering painting it Gemini Blue when I go to "restore" her.

It is a nice color. And apparently quite rare on 914s. I have a '71 that was originally Gemini Blue, I am going to take it back to original color.
Thanks,
Steve
