After much frustration, I finally found the source of my flaky electrical problem.....the socket for one of my round relays (on the fuse panel).
so now the question: has anyone ever found a way to cut into/open up and fix? My problem is the wiring inside the socket. A new socket goes for $30 new
once again, these are the rubber sockets the push into and sit on the fuse panel. Any ideas?

Thanks Andy, but never mind.....turns out it is the relay itself. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't
I hate it when this car makes me look like an idiot
cheers

If its the terminals in the sockets they can be cleaned and adjusted. U could use the smooth end of a drill bit as a feeler gauge to see how tight the terminal is and pinch it tighter if needed and if the brass is blackend fill it with fine valve laping compound and use the same smooth end of the bit and give it a good spin. Then use contact cleaner to blow out the compound. Wa La re conditioned socket.
