I've been trying to catch up since the return... a little tired, and beat honestly
5 day event with 14hours of tow each way.
over 400 cars in attendance, so I got pictures of just over half of them
Greg and Tricia came out from California and were great company!
really nice to meet fellow teener friends!
about 8-ish teeners running, but unfortunately I only got pictures of about half of them. My lap times were terrible, but as a slow learner I can tell you I did not get enough track time. I dropped 3-8 seconds per a session every time out, but could of used more track time
what an amazing track
no way to describe the track quality
definitely the nicest track I've ever been on
its about 2x as wide as any track I've ever been on
the run off is that much again
great elevation, great top speed straights... and really tight hair pins
20 corners is nearly double what I'm used to learning and I certainly did not master anything....

sorry for the overwhelming number of pictures:

Thanks for sharing all of the great photos, Brant. Good selection of cars. Thanks again.
dick's car about 10 minutes before he was punted into a wall:
an indy car came around him on a corner, and ripped his rear upright off....
spun him nose first into a wall which trashed the front end also
luckily he was ok

Brant,
Really good to meet you and your family in person. We had a great time.
Thanks so much for posting all of your great pics. I think the 908/3-007 was my favorite Historic Porsche at the event. Can you imagine driving Ferdinand Porsche's 914-8 with a de-tuned version of this race motor?!
Greg,
really great to meet in person
I hope to see you in California on track soon!
last one I think...
a guy in the stands had a great camera and emailed me this:

brant....you and old 914 looking good man looking good!!!
OK. I am sure I am exposing my ignorance, but why are the cars ratchet strapped to canopies? Great pics by the way.
Thanks for the post - that looks to be a fantastic event, something to put on the bucket list!
