Thank You Lisa.

Nothing special planned at the moment. Alison is in school till Noon or so. Going for my FREE Burito at Chipotle! My favorite place to eat...the only resturaunt that I would miss if they all just disappeared.
I am going to look at another 914 today. If you ever get serious about buying one let me know. I'll help you find one! You should have pounced on that Yellow 73 2.0 I told you about. $1500.00 Buck, and it was complete. It found a new home quick...

Thanks again all, been out working on the replica today again. (See my progress thread on RENNLIST, 914-6 section of the discussion forum).... I embrace being known as the GT Man. Cars that are LeMans class winners are always good to be associated with in some way. Fake or real, the Spirit of a true WERKS GT is what I hold high, and what drives me to make my car, a car to remember.

Martin,
Burritos are on me on your next trip to Sacramento. Hope you made some progress with all of this sunshine we are having... I am back in business with Fuchs. Some guy in So Cal... I talked to Harvey today too. He was the freakin parts manager at the Sierra Porsche in Riverside and knew the guy who bought my 914 originally.... He tells me that all the 2 liters came with Fuchs and they took them off and put on the cheesey alloys to jack the price of the car up... Anyway Happy birthday and I will talk to you soon...

Thanks again from all those who wished me a Happy B-Day. Never too late, Rick. Means allot.

Rob, Harvey is a nice guy, looking forward to getting my wheels back from him. Guess I will drop of my second set when I get the first set back. Need a set of street tires as well. RA-1s get the call for track duty. Looking forward to that Burito, had my free one today at Chipotle! LOVE that place!

MAL Falcon, Hey Thanks, Still taking your secret advice! My car is coming along slowly, but now that the rain has let up a bit I can work the car more. Work has let up some as well. We got slammed in December! It was good to see the sun again here. Thought I was back in Germany without the Autobahn!

Here is something you guys might enjoy, one of the jets I routinely work ended up in the grass at JFK, about 300 feet of the end of the runway. Snow storm. OOOOPS ! It was a nice break for us! This plane is posseded by SATAN, I am sure of it....I heard it almost made it to the water of the bay!
