Got this story from a co worker. Not sure if its true or not.
Anyway here's the story and some gross pictures
A guy in St. Louis was driving to work on Hwy 144 when he heard a 'pop'. He thought it sounded like a flat tire, though his ride wasn't affected. After pulling over, checking the tires and finding them intact he opened the
hood to look at the motor. Before the hood was even all the way open he jumped back in shock and knocked his head on the partially opened hood, unable to believe what his eyes were seeing! Nobody was going to believe
this! You sure wouldn't have either! Fortunately, a coworker with a camera recognized him along side the
road and stopped to see if he could help. Check out the attachment to witness for yourself the source of his amazement. Now, This has to be right up there at the top of the list of unusual but verified Reasons I was late
for work.

Ever wondered what that hissing noise from under the hood is?

That's got to have hurt.
Did he just tie the snake around the broken belt and drive on?
I am more wondering why a ball python was in the road... those are only in america as pets... not native to here...
I like how the head is laid out just right.
We had a ball python in college, guys down the hall had 2 6 1/2" boa's....ours was like the baby compared to theirs.
half a year I got a picture via mail, but I guess it was a fake
the story sounds familiar:
In Greece a guy brought his computer back to the shop because it didn't work any longer. The technician checked it and found out that the reason was the power supply. When he opend it, there was a dead snake in it, blocking the fan ...
Unfortunately I can't find the pic - maybe it's on my computer at the office
If yes, I'll post it tomorrow.
Send it in for warranty. Hehehehe.
I find it hard to believe that its a true story, but if its not is either a really good photochop, or it took somebody a long time to starge
One pissed off snake one might say!
Cats often find their way into a car engine bay & pay for it once the car starts. We lost a cat in that way. For as many pet snakes that get loose it wouldn't be hard for this to happen... the snake was seeking warmth.
my $.02

No, that is real. Poor animals love a warm motor.

My roommate had a ball python, and a neighbor of ours had twin albino burmese pythons, which are very rare. I'd like to get a ball python, or another tarantula, but after reading about all of the things you can train cockatiels to do, I think i'm going to go with one of those instead. Plus, cockatiels don't scare my girlfriend to death
the girls in college loved the boas and pythons. They were great chic magnets.

I saw the pictures of the boa about a year ago. There were about 5 from different angles. Wasn't a photo shop job.
Ok it was first posted in 03, http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/carsnake.asp
And the snake in the PC is http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/pcsnake.asp also.
its funny you mention kittys getting stuck under hoods of cars. My buddy Jim was working at a site and when he went to leave he had this terrible smell coming through the defrost. That nite he figured he would check it out since it was STILL there. When he popped the hood, there was a kitty stuck down between the a/c unit and the radiator and the belt....They pulled pieces out for a week and could never get all of it out. The only way to get the whole thing out wouldve been to remove the a/c compressor but you couldnt get anyone to do it!
