Hunter's tube replacements went well. The surgeon decided he would try just replacing the tubes first (stretching tube entry point, pulling out and then re-inserting new tube). It worked pretty well with just some bleeding.

He felt comfortable with this approach and did a flouroscopy to verify tube placement and all looked well.

So, besides being a little sore and a little tender, Hunter is doing fine. We should be taking him home in the morning.

Thanks for everybody's well wishes and kind thoughts.

Gotta run back to the hospital now.

That is great news.

It is obvious from your posts about your son, you are very devoted, loving parents. Bless you for that. Never let that change. As a guy with more experience that he would like on this subject, rest assured, Hunter knows when you are there for him in the tough times. Just be there for him. Even when you think you can't be there, find a way, and be there anyway. He will always remember.

My family will continue to pray for calm for you and yours.

Thanks everybody. He came home this morning after the surgical followup. The surgeon was happy with the replacement and cleared him to be home!
