Here is a short list of the five people who have committed to the CF hoods:
1. T.C. Davis
2. Mike Mueller
3. Brett Smith
4. Randall Barrick
5. Mack Lennox
Neal wants us to establish a buying order since only two hoods can be cast and produce each week. Some of us might want to get their CF hoods sooner than later, let me know. He also wanted it to be known that the price of Carbon Fiber is going up and that the list price for the same hoods will be $799 after our group buy. So, if there is still anyone out there who wants to take part, here's your chance. Just add you name to the list.

Did you by any chance get a price on the CF version of the 911 style dash? (I know their site only shows fiberglass, but andy has one, so they exist) I haven't heard back from Neal yet.

Randal-if you order first, lets say, and you order one front hood and one rear, those would be the two that Getty would produce and send to you that first week, before any other pieces are produced for the second person on the list. Hope that is clear. If the second guy on the list just wants a front hood that one piece would be produced the second week for the second guy on the list. It would take a while for all of us to get what we ordered. So, if you want you stuff first you would be first on the list.
What Neal wants is an order list and than we make our calls and place our orders in the order on the list. That's how Neal wants it.

I'm out.
They sent me an email saying they don't have pictures because they don't have any in stock. CF for 914s is all made-to-order.
That's exactly how I started my three-month ordeal with GT Racing.

I'm potentially in............I emailed Getty from their website a few days back, hopefully it gets to Neal. I want front & rear AND possibly the 914GT front oil cooler jobber doo-hickey, and I will "Will Call" my stuff. I can wait too, no prob.

The last date that you be able to commit is Friday, Feb. 4. I will post a list on that date of the purchase order, with Neal's ph#. It will be up to you to contact Neal and get things rolling. Neal will have a list of names and the order of purchase. As of today we have 7 people committed. I have some idea of the purchase order having gotten some feedback from you the last couple of days. When the purchasing order goes in to Neal, hopefully we will except the order of the list, and follow through, and not hesitate when placing your order. Thanks, Mack

I just talked to Neal and he is waiting on The list. Then we can contact him and he will produce on 5 orders. He can post pictures after the first one is made, for future orders. I am IN on this, as I also need a 911 hood. I think this is a Great DEAL.

500 front, 500 rear.....100 shipping (one lid or two)....if I'm "weak" when I talk to Neal, I'll spring for both instead of just the rear lid that I originally signed up

If you actually get to speak to him, could you get a price on the CF 911 style dash? I think he's not calling me back because I let it slip that I didn't want a lid

Anyone have an update on the delivery schedule? Are we about three weeks into production? Are the first three sets delivered?
I've got to have mine before the WCC or my car will have to go home without decks after delivering my GT Racing decks to Felix in Ventura.

That would be very cool. There's really no problem driving deckless at reasonable speeds.
I need to take some detailed pictures of the pin placements so you can install yours in preparation to drive w/ your new front deck. The rear closes beautifully on the factory hardware.
I'm in LA right now, but I'll take some good pictures when I get home.
