Obviously there's the price point but has anyone had sever issues with any ?

I've used them all without any problems. Buy whatever is on sale.

Bowlsby can tell us for sure, but I believe SKF was OEM. That being said, we wondered the same thing when we put our replaced ours. I think the consensus was that there was no real difference in quality - both companies have been around for a very long time.

I've used them all. Can't say which is better. Schaeffler, Timkens, SKF, Bardens. FAG/ Germany, FAG/ Spain I've smoked a couple of Mexican FAG's though. Burned em right up.

Get the FAG bearings made in Slovenia. $36 at Pelican.
