What are everyone's thoughts ?>
Obviously there's the price point but has anyone had sever issues with any ?
Bowlsby can tell us for sure, but I believe SKF was OEM. That being said, we wondered the same thing when we put our replaced ours. I think the consensus was that there was no real difference in quality - both companies have been around for a very long time.
I've used them all. Can't say which is better. Schaeffler, Timkens, SKF, Bardens. FAG/ Germany, FAG/ Spain I've smoked a couple of Mexican FAG's though. Burned em right up.
Get the FAG bearings made in Slovenia. $36 at Pelican.
These are the best price I've been able to find. I've got over 15K miles on a set of these. Made in Europe http://www.automotion.com/wheel-bearings-rear-for-porsche-8400.html#
