hello everybody and welcome again to the annual jsayre914 Hershey emergency thread. was driving to work when all of a sudden boom. car was firing on 3 cylinders and white smoke was everywhere in the cabin coming from the engine bay and coming from the exhaust. pulled to the side and found one spark plug had knocked itself out of the socket. got the car home threads were trash. tapped new threads and prayed. fired it up and it started right up on 3 only. oil was absolutely everywhere dripping from the headers. oil was also pouring out of the vacuum hose. did a compression check and found the cylinder that had knocked the plug out showed no compression. I got a hundred and twenty five psi on the other three cylinders. to top it all off I work almost everyday now and I have no time to work on my car. life is very stressful right now and I'm almost ready to say I might not make it this year.......
I would definitely check the CHT.
No really....your post doesn't convey sincerity from years past.
I think your're snowed in and have nothing else to do.
Don't Look if you have a weak stomach......

Welcome back
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Your car must really hate Hershey.
Sorry to hear the news Joe.
...from what I almost remember...this is your daily driver???
and if so, your driving in this weather without heat???
and of course, sorry about the carnage.
In that second picture it looks like oil flowing out of the anti-flashback valve!
Yep..... I think he should win some type of "True Grit" award.
I like the fact that he is running D-jet and has had most every horrible problem that can happen.
Also.....he drives in the most friggin nightmare weather everyday.
Here's to you Joe. I've enjoyed your threads over the past years.
He's 38 miles from Hershey.
I don't know shit but would be willing to try and help him out.
Time to get a bore scope and see if you can find any of that piston.
Hard to see in that pic but is that valve spring compressed?
Dropped seat?
Not going to be good though
