I'm expanding the application of my newest design to include all tailshift and 915 transmissions.

A precision adjuster will be available soon for these 914 applications:
914-4 tailshift
914-6 tailshift
WEVO 915
Vellios 915
916 trans.

This is what the adjuster unit for a 915 setup looks like.
The rear connection will need to be different for 901 tailshift applications.

How about one for the Martin Bott 916 trans? I am using a PMS shifter rod and firewall bearing and still need the piece from the firewall to the trans.

Nice! The sooner the better! driving.gif

The first one shown is for all 915 versions.
I can make the rod diameter for a standard bushing or a PMS firewall bearing.
The PMS shifter rod has a major shortcoming - the front cone screw hole is a straight bore, not a tapered bore. That rod would need modification to be used with the precision adjuster anyway so...
My recommended setup uses either a sideshift rod turned around or a tailshift rod shortened a couple inches.
I can make the rod under the engine, but I would need a measurement to determine the correct length.

The arm is removable since the part will have to be installed from the front side.

Chris, let me see if I have this right - this part installs at the front of the forward shift rod (in the tunnel), at the shift lever?

Is there any cutting/welding required, or is it plug-n-play?

No.
It replaces the short rod at the back of the tunnel that goes thru the firewall.
It is plug & play.

When is this going to be available for a 914-6/901?

Soon I hope.
I have 2 prototypes on my desk, and a 914-6 in the shop.
It'll be a few more weeks before we're ready to reinstall the engine though.

This is a picture of the 915 CFR adjuster installed in my car. Shifter is in neutral. I am using an early stock 914 shift rod and a Rennshift. I am using this setup with my Martin Bott 916 kit. Makes adjustments night and day easier, versus the trial and error method under the car.

How's the -4 tail shifter model working out, Chris?
