is it right that 2 plug connections are short and 2 are long?

ANSWER FOUND... SORT OF???

is it better to buy 2.0 wires for ease of installation, regardless of engine size?

though it seems that 1.7 & 1.8 use 2 long 2 short style, and 2.0 uses 4 short style.
