Dyno'd my 2.5 liter six today. 223 hp @ 6,800 rpm with 185 ft/lbs of torque starting at 3,500 rpm. Can't wait to put it in the teener.

Those are 911 headers for use on the dyno. My 914-6 headers ran too close to the equipment. The motor consists of a 7R case shuffled pinned and machined to accept 90mm cylinders, Custom JE pistons, twin-plug, custom hand ground(.412/.390) cams, Electromotive crankfire igntion, rebuilt Webers with PMO manifolds, head porting and new hi-performance race valve springs.
It's gonna be FUN.

That started as a 2.2 ? It is truly a thing of beauty.

HANG ON TIGHT!!!!!!!
wheeeeeeoooohh
What's your redline ?
WOW! Nice!
Nice!!
Wow...That's going to be insane...
Congrats.
The top horsepower on the dyno varied on mixture of gas and carb adjustments, basically from 6,800 to 7,600 rpm. above 7,000 the fuel mixture became too rich and the power curve dropped. I figure if I keep my driving redline at around 6,500, it will drive great and last forever.

p.s. MORE PORN

TC where did you dyno it, locally?
Paul
whats the compression?
TC,
Wow great job!
Is this a short stroke or long stroke motor?
Thanks
Van914
I've also got a 2.5 in that range, you'll love it.
Paul, Dyno'd at JB Racing in Tavares. Alex Job Racing is right next door. Compression is 10.5 to 1.
