Just conversed with Jaime (oldschool), he has to do a shoot for work this weekend so he is not going to make it up. He does want some stuff (pics and video) from the WCR so if a few or alot of us can get some pics and some GoPro vid of people, cars and whatever else, it would be cool to get for him!

Damn, didnt ask because i was too pissed! So i went to Bev Mo ( corner of hwy's 101 & 46 in paso robles) and got 3 cases. They did say for a 5 gallon was 99 and a 13 gallon was 150 with a 50 deposit and 40 for the pump.

We tested the wire from the gauge to the sender; that substantiated the wire was good. Today we drove inland where the daytime temp was in the 80s and there were good hills.on the inland drive the oil temp gauge went to 180. So, I think it works fine, it's just a little cool along the coast.
I also have an aux oil cooler under the rear trunk..

Finally back and rested up after leaving the coast, visiting Yosemite and collecting a speeding ticket in Nevada (wouldn't recommend it, they're pricey!). The leg is lots smaller now, working as designed and the pain endured was more than worth the price of admission for this event. Seeing the cars and talking to everyone, putting more faces with screen names and careful examination of the builds is what these events are about! And riding with Andy was a blast on new roads that I hope to drive on my own someday! A real good bunch of people we've got her, and I'd take our band of outlaws over anyone elses. The 356 rally was cool and I only heard one disparaging comment which could've been misunderstood. I talked with one gentleman who was very knowledgeable and pointed out alot of information I was totally unaware of. It was really an eye opener and it was good of them to invite us. Hope to see more of you all at RRC this fall!

Thanks everyone for a great time, and kudos to the event organizers -- they really raised the bar for future WCRs! I was lucky enough to win a $100 gift certificate from The Sierra Madre Collection, and just ordered a set of 911R reproduction tail lights and a couple of other widgets. 
Yeah, I know I really should have ordered stuff that would actually get my 914 on the road, but I would not have spent the $175 on these without the generosity of Sierra Madre and the other incredibly generous vendors that contributed. Again, thanks and I REALLY hope I can have my 914 at the next one!

Actually Andrew, i was curious about posts 378-380. If those are color-optimized then no worries but if there's a more saturated version I'd like them too!

I can put more saturation in them sure, but those had to have some clarity and color correction as the windshield had a bit of glare. I can send you the raws if you want or if you want any specific edit on them im more than happy to do that. Just send me a pm.

I loved the Medford event with the AutoX day. While I think a damn near carbon copy of the 2010 event would be great. I'm looking at some coast options & closer to Portland too. That autocross, and the drive up and back, are two of the highlights of my 'car life.'

Medford was a terrific location, we all had a great time. It would be nice going to a different location; Oregon has so many interesting places. And, closer to Portland would be nice too
