Hi,
i'm getting my car painted next week, but i still haven't decided about the color.
i was thinking red, but as i was going through one of the threads, i came accross a beatifull blue 914 , it was custom color. But as usual i forgot what thread it was
went through the nailed pic thread, but i have to admit 96 pages is a lot.....

so what i am looking for is that elusive blue 914...

any pic would help.

Akaska Blue Metallic. Sweet color. Rob Watson has 74 with this color.

This is Adriatic Blue.

I had a Marathon Blue Metallic a long time ago, and
it is a really great color.

sorry neither adriatic blue nor marathon blue

it's a cool pic of 9142430259, the last factory original M471 (remember, the highest VIN is 91424300260) - colour is geminimetallic (same as 9141430415, the one at AA)

maybe you could give us an idea of what kind of blue it was?
is it similar to one of the shown cars?
light or dark?
standard or metallic?

I couldn't tell wether it was metallic or not. it is close to the Lapis Blue Pearl Metallic but a bit lighter. it was a pretty intense blue.

Here's mine, the door sticker says it's supposed to be Gemini Blue. It's been repainted so I am not sure how accurate the color is.

i painted a 53 chevy pickup that color for a guy, well, not exactly but its worth a check out. A color they used on 80-90's corvettes, a dark blue almost exactly like that. I like that color, but i like the light blue too, looks alot like the color of my old supra.

Crappy pic, but cobalt blue metallic - similar to Dodge's metallic blue pearl (like on the turbo PT cruiser), but sans the pearl. Mid 90s Posche color I think, 1994ish?? Looks way better in person.

Seriously, today I checked around today for a bigger hard drive mines filling with 914 porn.
Blue is my favorite color, my 74 Olimpic blue thats a tad shade deeper/darker. Works for the chicks.
