New thread time in case you all dont see the other thread. Email needs to be sent on this one, if you have multiple email addresses, send one from each one. Lets see if we can make this happen for them. Show our support. Lets do it!!!
Oh boy, where do we start???
First of all, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts
for all of your immense support, time and dedication in helping us get
to the finals of the Wedding Giveaway. There is no doubt that the
914club’s support pushed us over the edge and into the final round of
voting. Minh and I (Mary) watched you guys and gals kick ass when we needed
your help. THANK YOU!
Most of you knew that there would be a second round of voting, this is
where a monkey wrench was thrown into the mix. Since something fishy
was going on , with the competing couple during the voting process,
the radio station has decided to change the voting procedure. Now they
are asking:
To vote for one of our finalists, click here and send an email
click here to send an e-mail
and be sure to include the following (failure to do so will result in
the vote not counting!):
• The Entire Name of the Couple You are Voting For (i.e. Mary & Minh)
• First Name
• Last Name
• Phone Number
• City and State
• Age (You must be 13 years or older to vote!)
One vote per person. Duplicate votes will be disqualified. Final tally
will be taken once voting has ended.
Winner will be announce on King Raffi's show, Tuesday, February 22,
2005.
Voting will end on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 12:00 Noon PST.
Incomplete entries will be discarded.
We know that this is asking A WHOLE LOT but we will be forever indebted
to all of you if you could help us out on this final stretch. “We may
have to volunteer to help Howard at the WCC 2005.” As Birgit put it
“this is much less painful than replacing our rusted out battery tray, we
all know so much about in our 914s.” Right??????????
Mary & Minh
My reaction to that procedure is that they'll throw out anything not in their radio area, geographically speaking.
But that's just the vibe I get from it.
I tried but it didnt work. Sorry, I was trying though.
Thanks Scott I really appreciate your help on this.

Mark,
90% of Mary's family is overseas (and voted from there in the first round) so.. I *hope* they wouldnt throw out votes from family members.
B
Scott... I edited it. You have to use HTML and not the php code from the board. Then.. you cant have any line breaks in the HTML or the BBS software corrects it.
B
I edited the "send an e-mail" link some more... works better this way
Sent it from my personal email account.
just sent...
worked on the mac, yea!
just voted...done!
I just sent my vote off. I had to call upon ALL my computer skills to do it. (Both of them). Good luck Minh and Mary.
Cheers, Elliot

What are they trying to do?
David
Win a dream wedding.
They don't really win, we appoint them.
It's important that we all pitch in, because I already have about 3 and a half hours invested.

Done...
When do I start getting personalized spam?
Done.
done.
Thank you sooo much to each and every one of you for helping my friends out in such a big way. I know that it's a whole lot to ask for but I see how we can do it as a "family".
Mary and Minh still can't believe the support that everyone from the club has given them, they still say "but these people don't even know us, how can they be so committed?" They are now starting to understand what this club is all about and why I spend soooo much time with it.
Let's keep on voting, polls close at noon, Feb 21 PST
Thanks soooo much
-Birgit
