914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Parking Brake Light Help

Posted by: 914four May 10 2015, 09:31 AM

I am finally finishing up my five year restoration and have an issue with my parking brake light. The light flashes constantly. I have cleaned the contacts and checked the switch but the light still flashes. The current flow diagram seems to show two paths to ground. One from the switch and one from the magic seat belt box. Electrically they look like the same point to me. What I am missing?

You need to reset the pin on your master cylinder. It should be a rubber covered piece on the MC .... Push to reset.

agree.gif you can reach it from the drivers side behind the front wheel. Just above the belly pan.
