Thanks. I see on the map it's not too far from Oakland. I'm taking my daughters to the A's game on the 1st. Hmm...how can I make this work.
Also, just noticed that Alameda is actually an island...who knew?

Ha! Even though I live in Nevada, I spend 8 days of every two weeks in the Berkely area. Hard to go through withdrawal that way!

If anyone wants to stop by my house first, just let me know. I might be able to sweet talk Amoy into making us breakfast.

Here's a pic of John and Jim and a future 914 owner taken on a Saturday get together last year. Great guys and my favorite place to visit.

The EASY turnout was much better than I expected. Mostly 911's and 912's but there were about 10 914's as well. Here are some pics ...
Mike Nagy's factory 914-6
Todd's very cool 3-liter conversion
Sir Andy's 3.6 liter
Marty Yoeman's 1.9 liter
Factory 914-6 with flared rear fender
Another 914-6 ... I think the way it's parked is making the rear end look a little high
my '73 stock 2-liter
Mike Bellis' COTM winner
Dave,
Great pics...I like the shot of your '73 with the 911 just behind. You can see the DNA comparison between the two models. Looks like a cool event.

Anyone going to EASY this Saturday? (8-15-15)
I'll be heading on over there to meet up with Sandy (without his 914/6 )
Mike, can you change the date in the title?
Thx
Posted by: ConeDodger Aug 13 2015, 09:48 PM
I can probably be there Mike. Company car again...
Posted by: Hank914 Aug 13 2015, 10:02 PM
I think I can make it to EASY this Saturday. Anybody going up 101, or are people driving 880 up?
Posted by: Mueller Aug 15 2015, 08:06 PM
Well, I went to EASY today...a little disappointed by the turnout, or lack of I should say.
Rob, Steve and Sandy and myself being the only 914 people there (besides the owner of EASY)....and only Steve drove his 914 out of all 4 of us!
A really nice 356 Super 90 convertable was there and a few 911's and one 928 owner (no 928)
I showed up at 8:45 and met the owner of EASY (sorry, I forgot his name already) and got a little tour and some background info on how he started the business and we talked for a bit about his Lemons racer.
Even with such a low attendance I had a good time talking to the other guys and I am going to try my hardest to make the Sept 5th event which will be the 1st Sat of the month and has a much better attendance.

With the Werks reunion and Monterey week going on, this was probably a tough weekend for get togethers
Posted by: ConeDodger Aug 15 2015, 09:31 PM
Good to see Mike and Sandy... Good to meet Steve. Sorry I only had my company car to show!
See everyone in September?

Also 100 degrees today makes for a toasty event.

Mostly shade in the front of EASY, we most all left at 12.
I didn't know PIXAR was right around the corner within walking distance....it would be neat to do a tour of that place.

Jim is the owner!
