914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Seeking Mystery Canadian With Rivets

Posted by: Porsche Rescue Mar 1 2005, 11:48 AM

I'm told by Eric Shea that he obtained some of the NLA white plastic rivets for threshold/rockers of early cars from a Canadian Club member. I need some and hope his supplier will help me out with source info. (but I'll take help from any country).

I have seen them locally at Ace and Winks.

Hell, that's too easy. I want imported rivets! Time for you to go to Camp and get busy. I'll be there in around noon and you better be awake.

I have some of the later black plastic rivits...but I'm keeping them.

Are you still in need of the clear plastic rivets ? I have a complete set..sitting in Calgary Canada - How much are they worth ?

I have heard that they are also a Beck Arnley (NAPA auto parts) item.

Somewhere I have a PN for them...but I cannot look for awhile.

I am also looking for them, if I can find them I will let you know. Please do the same.
Thanks

I will be checking our new "Ace" store here tomorrow. They could have them as they have a huge "small parts" supply. clap.gif
