Just got the latest Excellence with the buying guide. Number 2 great Porsche bargain was the '73 - 76 2.0. Their pricing had a range of $7K for a 1.7 to $70K for a six.

The $7K was the low for the 1.7, the $70K was the high value for the six.

Preservation and excellent restoration with low miles are going for more. Some conversion cars with Porsche motors that were very well done could approach that. Imagine Paul Sayegh's car up for sale. He would have to be close to that if not more...

I think the high is a little low. and the low is a little high. But it's all speculative and based on a buyer/seller experience. I know of 3 deals that fell through so far due to the buyer and seller not being able to get together in the end. Cash buyer no BS'er. One deal is over 70k with cash on the table.
