I have a favor to ask. My mother wants to make my father a stained glass 914 for his new garage. She needs a 2-D sketch of a 914. Something basic because I guess that is easier to make. If anyone has any sketches please post them.
Thanks!
Steve
take a picture like this, print it out and trace it w/ some paper over it, maybe a piece of glass w/ a light under it.

Search some of the old threads and find a picture you like.
Change the background to suit your taste and create a masterpiece.
I designed this stained glass piece and had it made a few years ago.

You can go to clipart.com and get a profile of a 914 to work from, that's how I did it anyway.
I mis-read header for your post in the beginning and thought, "how cool, he's gonna replace the rear window with a stained glass version . . . "

I've had this sketch for a long time.
Don't remember where it came from.
Would make a great hat or patch, too.

look at the headlights in the blue car, then the orange one. The orage one has "eyebrows" infront of where the lights flip up. Blue one's echocanyons, by the way. I guess we could ask him about going eyebrowless.
HTH,
Jen

Hahahaha!!! We both referenced Olav's car in the member's 914 thread.

I welded my little panel to the headlight panel as well primarily for cosmetics. It's a cleaner look and do you really think it will adversely affect your car's aerodynamics? It's within the front profile of cd mass. Plus it's one more panel gap that you don't have to worry about adjust to be consistent.
Gotcha, damn, my eyes must be getting bad, or maybe I've been looking at my car too long (See Avatar)

I'd be interested in the pics with the lights up too. The car may take on a look a little similar to the "juicer man". VEGETABLES!
The ex had this made for my birthday a couple of years ago.
