914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Ya, I'm Hooked!

After purchasing Sandy's 73 2.0 from Rick, I started the hunt for a numbers matching, color correct, solid 914-6

Found this past week, 1970 Adriatic Blue, fits with the Ravenna.

Does anyone know of a Lilac 914 thats available?

Thanks,

Dennis

Very cool cars. I'm jealous. Same color as mine (Adriatic Blue). Maybe someday mine will look as good as yours.

I think yellow would be more appropriate everyone knows blue + yellow=green.

you make me icon8.gif . In a good way though. Gorgeous 914's but I'd vote for a nice phoenix red for your 3rd

Dennis, That looks fantastic! How was the trip out and back to pick it up? Did you fly/drive or take a trailer? Anxious to see more pics!

Real Score! Guy's this is a real solid car. Dennins had to have a 6 after purchasing and driving Sandy's car. He has been hunting ever since. WTG! beerchug.gif

John,

I did the midnight flight so I could be there for the inspection, and put eyes to the underside.

Drove 15.5 hour from NJ to home, the car performed very well, zero problems.

Congrats. Believe me owning 2 is fun, but it can get a bit confusing.

You've got good taste in 914s.
Love the gas burners on the six!

Dennis, You are a very sick and a very lucky man.
Congratulations. There is no cure.

I've always LOVED the Adriatic, & much prefer the Mahle 5-lug Gasburners on the 914-6's - over the Fuchs - since the seem to fit the 914 styling best IMHO!

They were specifically designed for the 914-6, hen later some taildragers got them as an option.

Great looking 914s! smilie_pokal.gif

Cheers! beerchug.gif
