Hi,
was wondering where I could purchase front and rear caliper rebuild kits..
was hoping to buy from the same vendor.
I am taking a brake class at the local CC and would like to rebuild them.
thanks

I would suggest that you take your calipers off, and send them to Eric Shea for rebuild. He is a professional, and they will come back looking and working better that you (or I for that matter) can do.
Eric's rebuilds are definitely worth the money spent.
Order the kits from PMB and rebuild them yourself.
Review the tech pages where he tells you step by step how to do it.
I have done about 5 sets of calipers.
If you have the time, have the bodies replated and they will be fine.
Since you are taking a brake rebuilding class at the local CC probably don't want to send them in. PMB has rebuild videos as well as the parts. Can't go wrong there
thank you for the suggestions...
i have saved the video that eric has on utube.... and
looked at his web site... he has the front rebuild kit only for early
14's.... i may have missed them if he has the kit for late 14's...
he does sell a kit for the rears to go along with the video.
just was hoping to buy everything from one seller.
does he have a kit for late "73" front brakes?
i will be able to turn the rotors in class as well.
tks again.

almost finished sanding the car for buffing.
what do you think about the calipers from rock auto?
CENTRIC 14237525 Reman; Posi-Quiet; Loaded
are they Chinese ?
or is it simply best to rebuild what I have?
tks
randal
They're ok except no coating and the bolts hilding them are probably weaker.
You can buy a rebuilding kit or a rebuilt caliper but when you turn in your old ones, keep.the 7mm bolts.
tks for the link
and the tip on the 7mm
