Ever thought about replacing the top yourself?

http://www.convertibletops.net/ has one for your year, and http://www.robbinsautotopco.com/pdf_files/complete_catalog.pdf states it's a 6 hour job (give or take your mechanical abilities).

I swapped one with a glass backwindow on my son's '90 Miata and encountered no problems whatsoever; used the original rain rail and all.

Here is one option....

Go over to and chat with Jesse Radillo at "Radillo Coach Works"

He is the best there is and very reasonable... Not cheap... Just reasonable.

While your there you can look at some of the cars he has in his shop. From an old 356 to a Deucenberg that I think Leno or Reggie owns....

The guy is amazing.. AND reasonable. He is not only incredible at soft tops. He is equally as good on interiors.

Ya get what ya pay for.....
