914World.com _ 914World Garage _ help! can't remove shifter bar

Posted by: JerryP Mar 6 2005, 12:02 PM

I have the cone screw out but can't slide the bar out of the front coupling. I tried to loosen it with the BFH but it won't budge. What am I missing?

Take the other cone screw out....take a set of vice grips and spin the rod....that should break it loose. Then tap off the ends.
