914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 72 on craigs list in Arizona

Posted by: zipedadoo Oct 6 2015, 07:17 PM

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/ctd/5234770793.html

Was pasing through and stopped to take a look.

The car is ready to fold in half. On the drivers side the door sill has a 3" hole rusted in it, you can see clear through to the ground. On the hell hole side the entire jack pad is gone, major rust damage in that area. The front trunk has several holes. Didn't open the rear trunk.

Didn't try to start it.

The seats are nice but the rest of the interior is quite bad. Looks better in the photos than real life.

The wheels are nice, 5 bolt, but looked like adapters, no upgraded brakes etc.

Just thought I'd share what I saw since the ad is a bit misleading.

You must be mistaken...the ad says, "GOOD BODY---VERY LITTLE RUST".

Maybe they meant, "very little that's not rusted"... laugh.gif

Nah, everyone is a scam artist in Arizona, wickenburg is a little backwoods if I remember correctly. But really this surprises me very little.

I've only been in AZ a couple months and I have noticed that everything is overpriced "gold"

I will say...that's the first 914 I have ever seen with 928 manhole cover wheels. Thanks but no thanks.
