smilie_pokal.gif Congratulations!

Per Jeff B, the FI is similar to our 914s.

1978-79 are K-Jet (CIS), but 80-83 are L-Jet just like our 1.8L cars.

Man, is that motor pretty. I'd want that in the front of a hot rod just to show it off.

You need some new Porsche sounds and hp/Tq.
Install a set of our Gen2 928 long tube headers and you will dig it driving.gif Attached Image

Any plans for it? Most favorite looking car....I wanted one for years and years...finally test drove an automatic 1980's model and was disappointed, never looked at them again.

The 928 forum on Rennlist is very active. You will get a better reception there. If yours has been looked after by the POs it will be a terrific car.

Always liked the 928, a GT, S4, or GTS would make a fun family car smile.gif

FYI-never drive near a boat dock.

Some MSDS trivia;
The first set of prototype 928 headers were built in 1978, on the car owned by the Vance + Hines motorcycle race team. We did all nighters on the 928 project and finished at 3am. This was at my first shop, located in downtown Culver City. We test drove it uncorked on the quiet industrial streets , getting in most of 3 gears out of 5. It was the euro spec version and was a ton of fun !
DON'T try this today sad.gif

I have been daily driving mine since 2007. Has only left me a couple times, but I was back to driving the next day. Never been on a wrecker. Don't have any clue how many miles it has on it. I am sure close to, if not over, 200,000 miles. It's not pretty but sure is a fun car.

It would be great to see pics.

We picked up a 79 928, all original and have been restoring the rubber, wheels and interior for months. We love our 914's, but the risky business influence remains smile.gif
