914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Restore my temp gauge

Because I'm a newbie with this car I have questions to ask all you knowledgeable teeners. My 914 of 32 years ago never had a temp gauge at all but my 1973 2.0L does and it doesn't work.....where should I start?

Check the wire from the taco plate to the plug on the side of the engine shelf. You will probably find it is open (ie broken under the sheath). Put a Volt Ohm meter on it, check for continuity.
